PR-1w Palmtop Raman Spectrometer
Palmtop Raman Spectrophotometer (Compact Raman Spectrophotometer) PR-1s/PR-1w are palm-sized Raman spectrophotometers. It contains a 785 nm laser, spectrometer, and detector in a compact housing. Compared to micro Raman spectrophotometers, measurements can be performed with simple operations without the need for detailed settings before measurement. It can be installed in a variety of locations, and various measurement layouts such as in-line measurement and in-situ measurement can be realized. With a rich lineup of optional analysis tools, you can freely perform not only measurement but also various types of analysis.

PR-1s
measurement wavenumber range: 1800 ~ 200 cm -1
Maximum laser power: 15 mW

PR-1w
measurement wavenumber range: 3000 ~ 200 cm -1
Maximum laser power: 50 mW
Quick setup, easy operation
Focusing is completed simply by pressing the guide against the sample. After connecting to a PC and starting the software, you can start measuring immediately by pressing the measurement button. There is no need for detailed settings such as optical axis adjustment and focus adjustment, which are necessary for general Raman measurements.

Simple Design & Operation
Connect to a PC, start the software and press the probe against the sample - acquisition starts immediately from the measurement button; there is no need for detailed settings, such as optical axis adjustment or focus adjustment. Most handheld Raman systems typically can only measure down to around 400 cm¹ but the PR-1w Raman spectrometer can measure closer to the Rayleigh scatter down to 200 cm¹. This makes it possible to measure inorganic substances with peaks in the low wavenumber region.

Comprehensive Data Processing & Spectral Analysis
Spectra Manager Suite cross-platform spectroscopy software includes a wide variety of analysis functions as standard, such as wavenumber calibration, fluorescence correction, and intensity correction. KnowItAll Informatics with spectra search of databases for the analysis and identification of up to 25,000 Raman spectra is also available as an option.

Adjustable Focal Distance
The focal position can be easily adjusted to change the measurement position from the surface to inside of the sample.

Compact form-factor with sophisticated optics
The PR-1w is a fixed range Palmtop Raman spectrometer with a 785 nm laser and a CMOS detector built into a compact housing.

Application
The PR-1w has wide spectral range 200 – 3000 cm-1 with 3cm-1 per pixel resolution that can be used for non-destructive analysis of solids, powders, and liquids, including the contents of transparent bags, vials, and cuvettes for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Easy-to-use software for beginners

Tool button
Tool buttons for saving files, measurement functions, and display settings are provided. Operation is simple with graphical buttons.
Measurement conditions
This window is used to set parameters related to measurement. Three measurement conditions are set: exposure time, number of accumulations, and laser intensity.
Spectral view
Measurement and preview results are displayed.
PR-1w Accessories

Vial Holder
Used with 2 mL vials, liquid and powder samples can easily be measured. For safety, a light-shielding cover is closed during measurement so that the laser beam cannot be seen.

Cuvette Holder
The PR-1-C is used for liquid samples in 10 x 10 mm cuvettes.

Z-Stage Mount
The convenient Z-height adjustable unit with Sample Plates can be used for the measurement of a variety of samples: powders, liquids, and films.

Optional Lenses
Optional lenses with longer working distances can be used for measurements from 9mm to 22mm.

Protective Sample Chamber
The PR-1-DS has excellent light-shielding properties for highly reproducible measurements. Two different sample holders are available: liquid/powder and an ATR prism holder.

ATR Measurement Unit
The PR-1-ATR attaches the PR-1w Raman Spectrometer to an ATR PRO ONE X, PRO 4X, or PRO ONE. This mount switches between FTIR and Raman measurements, allowing combined analysis without moving the sample.
